Why do I want you to both submit to me and worship?

Because those are two different actions, silly. Submission is putting your own will as secondary to someone else’s, namely, mine. Worship is to revere, to view with awe and reverence. It’s possible to be both reverent and refuse to submit. I’m greedy, I’ll admit. I want you to both submit to me and worship, and I expect you to bring your A-game to both of those activities.

When you submit to me, you’re choosing to place what I want above what you want.
