It’s important to have hobbies.
Leisure and relaxation are vitally important to all humans, and activities that provide that relaxation can be sources of great happiness and enjoyment. I have several hobbies, and I enjoy them all. I love to sit down with a good book, pick up a skein of yarn and make something pretty and, of course, there’s an entire room dedicated to my art. All of those hobbies have something in common: they’re all solitary hobbies.
As important as it is to relax and enjoy leisure time, it’s also important to share some hobbies with friends and loved ones.
I have a newfound love of playing board games. Settlers of Catan, Carcassone, Castle Panic, Pandemic and more! My friends and I get together once a week to play games together. We joke and make terrible puns, we gossip and we play games. It is a much needed bonding and relaxation session. I love our game night!
There’s also the parties… those are also fun bonding and relaxation experiences.
