Welcome to Pride Month 2025 at the Enchantrix Empire. If you’ve been a fan of the podcast Whore School, you know that I’ve already done an episode on the history of Pride, with a side trip into Queer Liberation Theory. But, I figured I’d talk a bit about that here, and wanted to also make sure that everyone reading my blog would feel welcome and accepted in the Empire. Oh, and I also wanted to invite everyone to participate in the Sissy Pageant!

Pride Month 2025

While there is no federal recognition for Pride Month this year, nothing willl stop all the queers, gays, bisexual, trans, and otherwise not straight folks from celebrating all the things that make us a part of the Rainbow. Pride is a party, a celebration, and an overt in-your-face refutation of imposed shame by Puritanical and socially conservative forces. Pride is the opposite of shame, after all. So in a world where some people want you to feel ashamed because you enjoy wearing panties, sucking cock, or just falling in love with someone the same gender as yourself, embrace the antithesis of shame and celebrate Pride with us!

Queer Liberation Theory

Queer Liberation Theory started out as Gay Liberation, but has grown a bit beyond the scope of just being about gay rights. Queer is a word used as a kind of umbrella term to cover all sexualities and genders outside the heteronormative and cisnormative mindset. If it’s not straight and cis, it’s queer, basically. And Queer Liberation Theory is the set of ideas and concepts that can help people learn to disengage from that hetero- and cis-normative mindset. Instead of viewing the world from the point of view that everyone you meet in your day to day is probably straight and cis, Queer Liberation would challenge you to begin looking at folks and asking yourself “what if I’m wrong about the people around me? What if they’re gay, or trans, and I don’t even know? What if I am?!”

Sissy Pageant 2025

That’s right, we’re doing the Sissy Pageant again! Sissies, Trans girlies, and gender explorers of all sorts can strut their stuff and show off their outfits and smarts in the Enchantrix Empire Sissy Pageant. Our Sissy Queen will win 60 minutes with the Mistress of her choice, while our first and second runners up will also win some free minutes. Even if you don’t win in the Pageant, you’ll still ‘win’, with a lot of fun with the other sissies and Mistresses! You have all of Pride Month to get your qualifying 30 minute call or session in (plus a bit into July, as a bonus). The main show for the Pageant will take place on July 19, 2025 at 7 pm Eastern in our Enchantrix Empire Discord server, live! Join us in the server for this event, as well as other weekly live events like Femdom Fridays.
